Langkawi Island Day 1

It’s Labour Day today.

I can say pitty me, just today i have a chance go to Pulau Langkawi @ Langkawi Island. Most of the people in Penang for sure they been to Pulau Langkawi for more than once is age like me, it’s because by car it will take only 2 hours to reach to Kuala Perlis (jetty). From there another 1 hour by ferry to get to Pulau Langkawi. Actually i can choose to get to Pulau Langkawi from Port Swetthenham (Penang), Kuala Kedah (Kedah) or Kuala Perlis (Perlis), but am preferred to go by car so i can get more views all the way long to Kuala Perlis. I made a moved in an early morning around 6am. Unfortunately have to wait my friends at bus station longer then i supposed to be, this happen because, the bus supposed to stop at Butterworth station first before Sg Nibong (Penang Island) did other way round.

The journey from Butterworth to Kuala Perlis approximately 2 hours, we reached there around 9am. Gosh i thought am the earliest one, but to buy ferry ticket i had to wait about 20 minutes, then managed to get ferry ticket to Langkawi Island at 1030am.

i can say that board is useless, not update time by time then no information for platform we going to. What we need to do just wait the announcement

my ticket, we waiting our ferry. This ticket really confusing me, the handwriting there “ Hubungan 1” is the ferry name and on the info board don’t have Hubungan 1, what stated on the board only company name…huhu

the journey to the Langkawi Island from Kuala Perlis about 1 hour, we reach here around 12:15pm

after had little rest we heading to Oriental Village, which is from here we can take cable car up to the top of Langkawi Island
